Caloian Sauvignon Blanc: A Fresh Enthusiast for Timeless Enjoyment Moments

Caloian is a series that, as we have come to expect from Crama Oprisor, is inspired by local traditions. The name Caloian refers to an ancient ritual custom where, on the 3rd Tuesday after the Orthodox celebration of Easter, a doll made of clay or wood is used: the Caloian. Boys and girls get together and dance the traditional dance “hora” until late in the evening. Traditional instruments such as the flute and cimpoi (bagpipes) are often played, and songs invoking rain and abundance are sung.

Caloian Sauvignon Blanc offers a brief, unpretentious escape from the daily routine, reminding us how important moments of small joys can be. Get this wine and discover a timeless companion for moments of pure indulgence.

Tasting Description
Caloian Sauvignon Blanc is like a happy playmate frolicking tirelessly over the hills from morning to night. This wine is full of character, effervescent with temperament and bursting with vibrancy. The acidity brings a spicy excitement, while the aromas are fragrant and invigorating, like a fresh bouquet of vines and elderflowers, with hints of wildflowers and fine grass.

Serving suggestion
This Sauvignon Blanc pairs excellently with lean fish, various seafood, grilled vegetables, refreshing salads and white meat dishes.
